Community association

Ballinorna and District Community Association (BDCA) is a non-profit limited company that was set up in 2012 after a parish-wide survey identified 8 themes our community was concerned about.

What are the 8 themes

The 8 themes most important to people in Ballinora and Waterfall are:

    • culture and heritage
    • social inclusion
    • environment
    • safety and security
    • roads and road safety
    • communications
    • recreation
    • infrastructure

What are we doing about the themes

Each year, we produce an action plan. The action plan outlines the work we plan to complete in that year.

How to get involved

We’re always looking for volunteers to help us improve our community.

If you’d like to get involved email info@ballinora.com

Help to fund our community projects

We want to build on our award-winning success of the past 6 years and start an ambitious programme of improvements in partnership with local voluntary groups that will improve the lives of everyone in our community.

However, we rely on funding, sponsorship and investment from the local community to help make this happen.

If you can make a contribution, no matter how small,  your money will help to pay for the many projects we’re involved in.
