A QR code is short for ‘Quick Response code’. It’s a type of barcode that contains information about the item to which it’s attached.

A QR code is made up of black squares arranged in a square grid on a white background. They’re read by an imaging device such as a camera or smartphone.

How to scan a QR code

Once you’re in front of one of the Ballinora Heritage plaques you should be able to see the QR Code. You then need to open the QR Code application on your SmartPhone and scan the QR Code displayed on the plaque.
