The environment was one of the most important issues raised by members of our community in the 2012 survey.  We’re all becoming more aware of environmental issues, from climate change to plastic pollution in our seas.

Our aim is to do all we can to help protect the beautiful environment we live in, Ballinora and Waterfall.

To do this we want to give the community information about local environmental issues and encourage everyone to get involved in some of our projects.

We plan to find out more about:

• • recycling
  • compositing
  • energy conservation
  • waste disposal
  • our native wildlife
